Founder and Guide
Roshan is from the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal where he began exploring the National Parks, Shivapuri and Nagarjun as a child. He loved walking in the mountains, meeting the people, and connecting with undeveloped communities around Nepal. He remains fascinated by the people of his country who live in areas with no accessible roads or transportation but incredibly generous spirits with whom he is able to share music, meals, and great conversation. He is passionate about bringing foreigners into these communities where he can share Nepal's colorful traditions with the world. He is a certified guide who has spent his life exploring the areas that he now shares with our Yoga Trekking Community including the Everest, Annapurna, and Gosaikunda Regions that Yoga Trekking International regularly visits.
Founder and Manager
Binod is from Tokha, a community on the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley at the base of Shivapuri and Nagarjun National Park. He spent many years working to help develop and clean up his community. He has taken solo treks around Nepal where he learned that many communities were in need of basic development in order to sustain themselves. Human rights, access to clean energy, clean water and waste treatment are important issues for him. He believes that developing relationships with the global population through yoga trekking will bring awareness about the condition of Nepal to the world. Small village exposure through tourism will simultaneously educate village communities, improve the economy, and improve accessibility to the smaller less accessible communities in Nepal thus contributing to the development of the country that he loves so much.
